“As far as I can tell, art is the only thing we do that lifts us out of the mud and into the realm of the gods”

I create music because I can. I am fortunate enough to have the means to express my ideas and emotions via the tools available to me. This is about the process, not a means to an end. I have long ago abandoned the idea of creating music to fit an existing aesthetic, but focus on what my inner voice tells me as an idea transforms from a thought to a master track.

All my influences are present at all times: northern soul, trance, disco, pop, Beatles, psychdelic, surf…

I began writing as a teenager in Canada, in a factory town east of Toronto. In fact, the drummer i started playing with in grade 7 is still the drummer I create with today.

Our band played everything from YES to the Ramones and we had a lot of fun doing it, playing college towns across southern Ontario and Quebec. Then, In the late 80's, a good friend arrived home from Glastonbury and introduced me to elctronica. Once I felt the positive vibes from trance and techno I was hooked on creating music in new ways.

Electronic music lead me on to discover disco, soul, funk, trance, industrial and a whole world of new ideas.

It's all here in this music. This is the pop sensibility of the 60's, underground music of the 80's, the psych grooviness of the 90's, and the DJ bombast of the new millennium.
